December 31st was very angry.

It woke up everyone rudely on its morning, gnashing its teeth, in the wounded hope that someone will give it the due respect it deserves. After all, it believed it was as inclusive and as full-blooded as any other day. Sadly, the only thing that everyone looked forward to on the morning of December 31st was to celebrate its end.

the day represents all that we've done for 365 days. right or wrong. compressed in 24 hours. if its angry, maybe it has a right to.

its difficult not to get affected by what you write.

I thought we were celebrating the start of 08, which does go down well with our obsession of celebrating "Beginnings" , festivals, relationships, cars et al and denigrating "ends".

Essentially humans can't destroy/control things they don't understand. So "control", be in at various levels, multiple forms , drives society in an oven which is what makes our life a little undramatic but much less complex to "live".

The world has limited capacity to let us express our individualism, and when we do that we merely add to the world our "being". I wouldn't call it sublimation of the worlds imperfections.

Thats sounds damn sweet. An angry 31st-of-december. Its what i would call tangential thinking.
